E' l'effetto dei due provvedimenti adottati dall' Antitrust che ha accettato, rendendoli vincolanti, gli impegni presentati da Abi and ATM Consortium after two separate investigations, undertaken to verify the existence of agreements restricting competition. Further reductions are possible on the basis of analysis of economic efficiency.

(Il Sole 24 Ore Thomson Financial) - Rome, 05 Oct - The subject of commissions cost reductions are in the relationship between banks that may affect the economic conditions offered by banks to end users. All new fees are determined by applying the principle of economic efficiency and represent levels that can not be changed on the rise. The Antitrust Authority will constantly monitor the light of competitive and regulatory developments including EU.

In particular, the interchange fee PagoBancomat falls more than 4% of the average transaction value, as a result of the commitments offered by the ATM Consortium (the fixed component of the interchange fee is reduced from 0.13 to 0,12 € per transaction). The Consortium has committed to review the Board in the light of the principles that emerge from the studies being undertaken by the European Commission and the Eurosystem. The Committee on withdrawals from ATMs is reduced by 3.4% (from 0.58 to 0.56 euro). Rid The interchange fee is cut by 36%, dropping to 0.16 euro. From 1 November 2012, the interchange fee on Reid will be reset, in line with European developments, except for the part on the alignment service electronic archives (equal to € 0.071). The Committee Rid speed drops from 0.35 to 0.26 euro per transaction. Finally, the committee RiBa per disposizione di incasso viene ridotta di quasi il 20%, da 0,57 a 0,46 euro.
